a
bit of history
Since 2000, Onboard and the Canterbury Wakeboard Club
have organised the annual South Island Wakeboard event.
The first was Lake Crition four years ago and recently
lake Hood, Ashburton. The regional events have categories
from Novice to Open, age age groups from Juniors to
Masters. Regional events held over two days, a day for
competition, Dinner and Party and the second day for
fun. The club is also organising other events and days
where anyone can come along and learn to ride, hang
out and be a part of this fastest growing watersport.
