Who needs a prop puller? Just horizontally wedge a bit of timber behind the prop collar, with another length of timber as a lever behind it propped off your trailer axle shaft or cross-member. This way you can pull hard on the lever and the timber prop will be trying pushing the prop off with a lot of force. Then give the end of the shaft a sharp tap with a steel hammer (shock it) and that prop'll jump right off - so have a pillow under, ready to catch it!! Do it proper, and don't go hammering away for ages and make sure you pull really hard on the lever, otherwise you run the risk of damaging the shaft seal.

Works a treat every time!

PS - big ups to 1905 Classic (the year he was born) below for sharing this tip with me. Thx bro!

Geez Sonny, I thought you'd just give your prop one of your hard looks & scare it off the shaft?

loosen the nut but don't remove it. Solves issue about prop falling off and protects the thread too
