Hey Doc what size wheels are on that thing and have you/how have you jacked it to get them on?

We're blinging a similar golf cart as a promo vehicle for a customer with sounds etc and were going to stick on these 10" mag wheels & chunky tyres from my mate who works at e-z-go but I'm liking that look Shocked

Actually Devo you can get a 48 volt conversion kit and bigger engine for the newer e-z-go carts plus some tinkering around can get 60-70km/h so wouldn't take Doc that long to get there... Wink

Hey Adam

Sorry for the delay

The 22" wheels unfortunately cant fit under the cart. Someone way more clever than me and heaps of cash money like Devo could sus it. (Perhaps)

A friend of mine has managed to fit some 17" wheels on his with out to much trouble.

But OH we wish !!!! the 22's fitted.

I don't know about 22s but I've got a 50 cal fitted to the Primera.

And if I see any hommer Italians mincing round in their golf carts I'll be forced to use it.

OK Doc yeah I think my mate at e-z-go said you've got to cut the axles and weld in pieces to jack it even for 17's, might have to stick with the 10's as they look ok and go hard on the sound system, will post up some pics when done Smile

Nice work Ralph (as always) - was that just with the fixed weight in? And what speed were you pulling in the photos? Looks like the middle position really took the chunky lip off (which I know was your plan), but the fully down appears to have a lot of wash (does altering speed make much of a difference to the wash?). I know I'll see it in person sometime.

Just factory water system and my washers I got from X-Air Adam. Oh and the some of the lead I had lying around.....

The speed was 22mph to simulate a having a few passengers in. With the plate full down it makes a complete mess of the wake at any speed but it does aggressively push the nose down on start up and "should" result in quicker plane up. The boss was driving so it was hard to tell how much jandle she was giving it starting each time. Apparently you can use the tab to lengthen & tune the pocket while surfing but I haven't played with it yet.

Oh and I was kidding about Mastercraft anyone who has spent any time in one knows they are the real deal.

Got down to mango tonight to fit the final version of the brain. It works! So happy. The automatic plate movement works perfectly. I did a little bit of testing on how much the plate position changes plane up time, with a full throttle start:
Manual, plate up: 11 seconds
Auto, plate down & up: 9 seconds

I also tested with "normal" throttle levels which is a little harder to gauge because its tough to know if you are putting the throttle in exactly the same place every time but with 2/3 throttle start:
Manual, plate up: 16 seconds
Auto, plate down & up: 12 seconds

Not sure how this will translate to overall running cost savings but I guess it will help to some degree.

Also had a play around with the surf wake, the plate really helps to tune the surf wake as well, without the plate we drive in a curve to keep the wave clean and a nice shape, with the plate you can drive straight and use the plate the clean the wave completely. Happy days.

The way it effects the attitude of the boat during plane up is really really nice. ZERO bow rise, the V210 starts pretty flat anyway but now there is literally no bow rise at all. Dope.

I need a bit more time with the system to know what its going to be like on a normal day of riding but so far, super impressed.

So to sum up, trim tabs enhance the performance of any boat whether they "need" one or not. Automatic tab movement is what PP is to driving. I am so happy. Next project, heated seats.....
