Can anyone recommend a good teak oil?

Anyone used Teak Wonder?

Appreciate any advice.

Heya,

Yeah teak wonder is good teak oil, but just make sure you get all the old oil out first and will come up better, you can use a brown nylon scouring pad to clean up the teak .. there are 2 part acids that you can use but try it with hot water and a really good scrub first just making sure you go across the grain rather than with it. the oil usually looks best after 2-3 applications with a day between coats and be careful not to get it on the gel coat. I usually use a rag to apply it.

Raw linseed oil from bunnings works great.

To remove the old oil from the teak sand with 80 grit sandpaper. Apply the oil with a cloth.

Don't get any oil on your gelcoat, it stains. if you do clean it off with meths or acetone straight away. best to mask up the area before applying oil.

Went with the bunnings options (2 mins down the road) and it worked a treat! Thanks guys.
