as mr t said, if you are going to use 3 stays, the base really wouldn't matter as it's not really going to take any load. guessing 95% of load would be on the stays.
I made the substanial base bracket as I only wanted a front stay to make it all a lot more friendly to use especailly getting into & out of the boat & also I wanted to be able to fit a shorter ski pole when only slalom skiing |

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone can help me - I have been boarding with other people for a few years however only just bought my own board.
I want to build my own high pole, and all the suggestions so far have sounded good, however I was wondering if it was possible to do this with out mounting anything to the boat.
The main reason for this is that parents arent too keen on modifying the boat, and we rotate between using my boat and a mates.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Pat. |

Hey Pat,
We can supply you with a stainless steel high pole for your parents boat. The stainless base plate is cnc machined and curved so you don't kick your toes on it when the pole is removed. This is screwed on top of the floor and can be easily removed later if required. No modifications to your boat are necessary except for a stainless steel 8mm eye strap on each side of the boat for the rear support cables to clip onto. The pole can be put up or down in under a minute and the deluxe model comes with storage bags for the pole and accessories when not in use.
What area are you from? We may have a dealer close by where you can take your parents to view one.

kitchens, you got to be joking 'catarse'. im a kitchen person and if that sort of installation finish was on my kitchens i would be out of a job. good thing i dont know you 'catarse' or i would insult you in person.
any way lets get onto round one in the ring,, ding, ding( and the fight is on
-catarse comes out of his corner just trying to get an edge on ology
-ology comes up to the play
-catarse makes a move at ology, and ology ducks for cover
-catarse goes him at all angles, but ology just keeps diving for cover
-catarse keeps trying to entice ology and tries everything in the book, but ology just keeps making excuses and diving for cover
-finally ology swings at catarse
-catarse blocks but loses his mounting due to tampering before the fight(wonder who that could have been(sabotage)).
-ology comes in again at full force, only to be undone by his own misfortune(the platform gives way)
-catarse goes in for the kill with a list of vendettas to be avenged.
ding, ding, end of round one
to find out what happens in round two just be creative and write something. |
