Darren Walters has been appointed MasterCraft dealer for New Zealand, based in Tauranga, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, on the east coast of the North Island.

Darren and his family are keen supporters of Wakeboarding throughout New Zealand. Darren’s son, 10 year old Talor (see pic below), has become new Zealand's 1st National Grommet champ, and now New Zealand's youngest international competitor. Darren says “We first bought a MasterCraft X-2 in Summer 2003/2004 and loved it”. “We love the sport and want to help grow it as big as possible. We have just launched a site called www.groms.co.nz - which will focus on profiling kids at the top of their sport.”

While 32 year old Darren has a background in automotive sales and finance, he will be concentrating on building a high standard of customer care and service for both existing and new MasterCraft owners. “Our focus will be on "SERVICE" as the Product speaks for itself, and we will be working hard to grow the sport, along with MasterCraft sales, in the area”.

Darren’s first delivery of X-Series boats is due to arrive in December, right in time for the start of the season.

Well known New Zealand and US wakeboard coach, Kurt Robertson (see pic below), is opening his new wakeboard school, ENZEEL Wakeboard, with a brand new MasterCraft X-1. With a string of world class podiums to his credit and a reputation for coaching some of the world’s top riders, Kurt has become an international ambassador for wakeboard New Zealand.
